Religion places emphasis on contemplation, thinking and rationalization because it is to lead man toward God, godliness, and betterment of his worldly and heavenly life. It is in such condition that the foundations of religious doctrines are cemented in man and he can apply true Islamic beliefs in his thinking.

Contemplation is an important and essential step in consolidation of religious principles. In other words, in order to consolidate religious principles that are related to human thought and rationalization, one must contemplate accurately. But how the true path of thinking is acquired? What are the religious and Islamic instructions in this connection?

Right Thought

Religious teachings and sciences encourage Muslims to think and contemplate on important issues on one hand, and on the other hand, prevent them from wrongdoing and inadvisable thinking. Incorrect thought about other Muslims and suspicion on religious brothers are the two seriously prohibited behaviors in Islam. Islam says: “Truly many acts of suspicions are among sins. Inadvisable thoughts and acts, and in general, whatever prohibited in Islam are all inadvisable contemplations that Islam has seriously prohibited.

Based on what we said earlier, Islam places emphasis on contemplation, thinking and rationalization because it is to lead man toward God, godliness, and betterment of his worldly and heavenly life. It is in such condition that the foundations of religious doctrines are cemented in man and he can apply true Islamic beliefs in his thinking.

Religion has expressed all subjects of its emphasis. Thinking about these subjects will make man a godly creature and will guide him toward the Almighty God and his thoughts will then be lustrated and grown. Also, by leaving the subjects prohibited in Islam, human thought and contemplation will be on the right path.
