The Deputy Mayor of Tehran’s municipality in city services said: The services of pilgrims in the cities of Najaf and Karbala are being coordinated by the authorities of these two cities.
Mojtaba Yazdani said: As per the planning, the main responsibility for providing services to pilgrims lies with the municipalities of Karbala and Najaf, and in addition to these two municipalities, the municipality of Tehran will also contribute in serving the pilgrims of Arbaeen.
Referring to the fact that the Tehran municipality is proud to hold a servicing medal for pilgrims in Karbala and Najaf, he said: “We should thank the Iraqi authorities, as well as the governors and mayors of Karbala and Najaf for their cooperation and providing the groundwork for this service to Tehran Municipality.
Mojtaba Yazdani continued referring to send the second batch of Tehran’s municipality workers to the cities of Najaf and Karbala and said: Tehran’s municipality’s 1000 workers were deployed to Iraq, 600 of them have been sent to Karbala and 400 have been sent to Najaf.
